Engine Sticker
[edit]
Ideas from ThePico club members for publishing a rules+safety sticker to put on our motors
Pilots sometimes forget rules (eg: min T/O distance from spectators, min height over people, etc) or safety issues (eg: pre-flight checklist reigime).
The general public and free-fliers don't often know any rules relating to us and power.
If we have a small sticker on our motor, it will:-
- help remind us how to fly safe and how not to get into trouble, and,
- if agrivated spactators confont us upon landing, showing them an official-looking printed rule placard which clearly explains we were not breaking rules could help eliminate potential complaints.
