It is always a lot more fun to fly with someone than on your own, you can share stories and you can keep an eye out for each other in case something goes wrong.

You might have an engine out, run out of petrol or conditions might be a bit tricky and you need to land…it is always comforting to know that your flying friend is out there looking for you.

Also, your flying friend may be a valuable source of information. Some pilots on this list are experienced pilots and happy to advise you and give you their opinion.
